“ I went to Montauk for my birthday weekend with people who grew up going there for 20 years and Dureyas was hyped up to me for months and it absolutely over delivered and captured the essence of the entire weekend we went July 2024. Its a market and restaurant on the water with a super casual vibe that draws a great crowd. We started with the sunset seafood tower while we waited for a table and then we ordered the heirloom tomato salad, the tuna tartare, the fresh corn, and the belle of the ball the Lobster Cobb. The ingredients were all so fresh and flavorful and even though we ordered a good amount of food, it was also light and clean. I still dream about the tomatoes, corn, and the salad. That birthday lunch was a core summer memory for me that I cant wait to recreate. ”
“ We spent the last night of our honeymoon at Duryeas, and it lived up to the hype. The lobster Cobb salad was out of this world. We loved the unique experience of filling out an order form and paying right away, and enjoyed a coursed out meal from there. The atmosphere on the dock was wonderful, with an incredible sunset view to end the night. If youre in Montauk, this is a must. ”
“ Servings are gigantic, no choice 23 person is the size for all seafood. Really best suited for a large party. We had octopus 3 pounds and the fish of the day, New England Clam Chowder and the salmon salad appetizer and rice...all main courses come with veggies so no need to get extrawhich we didoops. ”
“ The lobster Cobb salad was everything I dreamed about and didnt know I needed in my life. And the fries were delicious. The service was top notch especially the manager. We were told it was 2 hour wait at 230pm on a Saturday but wound up only being 1 hour. Additionally they needed to turn our table over so the manager gave us wine for the inconvenience. If you want a more casual experience go at mid day. The dinner crowd was over the top dressed up and it was definitely a scene which we expected. They dont take reservations so be prepared to wait, but theres a great bar in the restaurant so time flies by. ”
“ A great place to relax and have good food. Its a little isolated but still not far from the center of town. Great views and fresh food. Is it a great place to have dinner? Absolutely! You see the sunset, the ocean breeze if it gets chilly, you could ask for a blanket and the sound of waves while you dine. Great selection of wines and the staff are all in our experience friendly and competent. My family had a pleasant experience. I honestly say that the food is expensive but for what you are getting, it was worth the money. And I wouls also like to say they have generous serving so its not like fine dinning where you have just the presentation but I would honestly say an order of steak would be good for 2 individuals, even 3. Even the kids meal has a generous amount of serving, and paired with their delicious fries would satisfy even a hungry adult. But one of the main reason you go here s the ambience, they get really packed and wait time can go up to an hour but its not bad because you can just grab a wine and enjoy the place and view while you wait. ”
“ Love it! We went on Wednesday evening so definitely no line. The lobster salad is a must try! The mussels are fresh and tasty. The burger comes with fries by the side, so dont order extra fries like us lol ”
“ For anyone whos left a poor review, it seems they are usually unhappy with long wait times or the price. Its pretty simple, they dont take reservations, so plan accordingly. And inflation has made everything gone crazy. Is a lobster roll justifiable at 45? Likely not, but it was undeniably delicious and full of flavour. The food was tasty, fries were so great, the ambiance was pleasant, and the views added to the experience. While it might be considered expensive, its worth remembering, this is the Hamptons so if prices are an issue, go elsewhere. Its worth noting that it outshines two other lobster establishments nearby. ”
“ Wow! Spectacular waterfront views with a great vibe! And the food with family style servings was just as good! Our first time at Duryeas so the ordering process was a little different...you check off want you want on an order sheet and walk it up to the cashier to pay upfront and the food comes out later! Gives you time for a drink and enjoy the views. We had a cloudy day but it didnt take away from the ambiance! Some may get sticker shock when you see the menu prices but serving size good for 23 people! It was a nice splurge for a date night. My wife and I shared the house salad and half dozen oysters followed by a 2lb lobster with a side of veggies for our entree. Didnt seem like much but it was a good thing we didnt order more items because we were quite full. ”
